Phantogram has returned after two years with their raucous new single “You Don’t Get Me High Anymore” from their upcoming album, Three. Directed by Grant Singer, the video finds members, Josh Carter and Sarah Barthel, walking through various scenes of environmental desolation. From wandering through the empty rooms of a classic American home to strutting down the beach of the saline lake, Salton Sea, in Southern California, the pair moves through vivid imagery that work as abstract metaphors for life. Miss Barthel is seen decked out in an all-black ensemble complete with a body harness, dog collar, and attitude to match. As she walks away from a tsunami in her background – we can’t help but think that she made the perfect exit.
