In her latest single, “Hotter Than Hell,” rising British-Kosovar-Albanian songstress, Dua Lipa, gives us all more reasons to eagerly await her debut record. Miss Lipa’s sultry voice has been blowing up all over the world with her singles, “Last Dance” and “Be The One,” and from the looks of this Emil Nava-directed music video, her newest song is poised to become the song of summer ’16. Set against a the backdrop of a gritty London warehouse, 20 year-old Lipa belts and lithely jives her way into the spotlight, commanding our attention with her powerhouse presence (not to mention some killer looks). See-through mesh t-shirts, leather dog collars, and black sequined car coats decorate Miss Lipa as projections illuminate her and her dancers. The singer’s debut album is set to drop at the end of summer and it’s safe to say that it’ll probably be hot. Like hotter than Hell. Ah, there is hope for pop music yet.
